We're a small church, but we believe in a Big GOD who has big plans for White Rock! Check back here often to see what God is doing!
In-Person Worship Service
At last! Join us for in-person worship service each Sunday. At 9:30am, all ages will gather in the back yard for family-friendly worship service, and after the sermon we will break into small, outdoor discussion groups to continue learning and growing together. Children will have their own groups with a leader. Please bring your own beverages, sun protection, and camp chairs (chairs will be available for those who don't have camp chairs). Please remember to wear a mask if your health allows, maintain appropriate social distance, and live-stream from home if you are sick.
Socially Distanced Wednesdays
Virtual Fellowship- On Hold
Wednesday nights are on hold for the month of August. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for ideas of what you'd like to see our midweek gathering to look like starting in September!
Youth Group and Youth Homework Hangout
Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to socialize, serve the community, and study the Bible every other Thursday. On their off Thursdays, they are invited to a homework hangout with Ms. Byerly the math teacher and Ms. Garrett the English teacher on call! In September, youth group meetings are at the parsonage (232 Rover Blvd.) at 4pm on 9/3 and 9/17; homework hangouts are at 4pm at the church on 9/10 and 9/24. Contact Cindy at email@example.com with any questions. *Masks and social distancing!*
Quizzing is a Bible study program for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade that focuses on learning an entire book of the Bible each season, with an optional competition component. This year students are studying the book of Exodus. They will memorize verses and know Exodus forwards, backwards, and upside down! Lessons are Fridays at 3pm in the sanctuary (front building). If your child is interested in participating, please email with your children's names and ages. *Masks and social distancing will be observed!*
Serving the Children, Teens, and Families in our Community
We recently opened the White Rock Learning Center to serve the children, youth, and working families of our community. We are providing cost-free childcare to the children of essential workers, providing a safe space for them to engage with their online schooling. If you can volunteer any amount of your time to help children of any age with their online school work, clean a building, or run errands such as picking up free lunches for children, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. *Masks and social distancing are observed*
