Genuine compassion for the marginalized has always been a primary characteristic of the Nazarene Church.
Matthew 25:34-40 (NIV)
34 "Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.
35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,
36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'
37 "Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?
38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?
39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'
40 "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'
Children's Ministry
Our children enjoy their own service any time adults are in a service!
Children in preschool through 3rd grade do an inductive Bible study called Eureka! during adult discussion group time. Children in 4th grade through 6th grade have their own sermon discussion group.

Nursery care is available for children birth to 3 years old.

Fire Preparedness
Wildfire season is upon us, and though we need not be fearful, we should be prepared. The Sorensens were gracious to compile some advice about preparing for wildfires and shared their personal family evacuation plan. Use this document to prepare your home and family for a wildfire affecting our community, and feel free to share it with neighbors and loved ones. You can find this document by clicking the button below.
Crisis Care Kits
Our church routinely builds Crisis Care Kits to send to people in need all over the world. We collect items year round and schedule special packing days to prepare kits to ship. Each kit contains the following items:
-
1 medium-size bottle of shampoo (12-18 oz.)
-
2 bars of soap (bath-size or larger)
-
1 medium toothpaste (4.0-6.4 oz.)
-
3 toothbrushes (in original packaging)
-
1 box of Band-Aids (30 or more)
-
1 fingernail clipper
-
1 sturdy hair comb
-
2 hand towels
-
4 pocket-size packages of facial tissue
-
1 Beanie Baby-size stuffed toy
Each item must follow exact size and type specifications in order to clear customs in the event of an international shipment. If you can donate any amount of any of these items, please speak to Jason Anderson!
