SERVE

The Church of the Nazarene puts a high value on growing as disciples for the sake of serving others. For that reason a great deal of resources and higher educational organizations have been started globally by the Nazarene Church. At La Vista, we strive to help every person grow in grace and Christ likeness.

Globally

We support organizations that reach out beyond our ability to a global world. This includes:
• Nazarene Compassionate Ministries
• Nazarene Missions International
• Harvest Partners/Jesus Film
• and other outreach ministries that meet accountability criteria.
 

Locally

At La Vista Church, we are committed to making a positive and practical impact on our community through giving of our time and resources for the sake of others. We have multiple events throughout the year to serve our community, such as the Splash into Summer party, the Easter Sensory Experience, the Bike Maintenance Clinic, and the Special Needs Friendly Trunk or Treat. HOW YOU CAN HELP

  • Children's and Youth ministry group leaders

  • Building and grounds maintenance

  • Website designer

  • Drivers for van ministry

  • Audio/Visual ministry volunteers

  • Meal ministry volunteers

WE NEED YOUR HELP

Church: We are always seeking hearts that feel a call to help in the local church. There are many areas of need including:
