We are a Nazarene Church (to find out more about the Nazarene Church click here). We are Christian, Biblical, Evangelical, and Missional.

Our vision is to be the church in White Rock NM that is known by the community for:

  • Genuinely showing the love of Christ to every person we come in contact with.

  • Genuinely believing what we profess from the Holy Scriptures.

  • Having a positive impact in our community.

  • Caring for the broken.

  • Feeding the hungry.

  • Loving the lost.

  • Always seeking to be more like Jesus for the sake of others.

  • Showing grace equally to everyone because there is not one who is more deserving than another.

As Christians, we are called to service and ministry. We are responsible for enhancing our effectiveness by learning necessary skills and expanding our understanding.

Discipleship: We are commissioned to make disciples of the nations. A disciple of Christ is one who follows Jesus and is commited to living as He as has called us to.

Training: Discipleship classes are offered at La Vista Church as well as through Nazarene resources.

While we are a small church, our heart is for a Big God who provides for all of our needs. Please feel free to contact us with your needs so that we might be able to provide, pray or point you toward those who can.

The following is a list of some local resources and links that you might find helpful.

 Isaiah 58:6 (NIV)
6 "Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?
7 Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter-- when you see the naked, to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?
8 Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.
9 Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I. "If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk,
10 and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.
11 The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.
